Hands can rest on thighs. Take a few moments to deepen the breath and find an even length inhalation and exhalation.
- Bring your awareness to the third eye point as you breathe. Begin to deepen the breath as you relax the shoulders down the back.

- This is Lion’s Breath!!
- Practice this for three to four rounds and then bring the tongue back into the mouth and relax your face and throat. Take a few deep breaths here.

pursed lip breathing
What, Why & How to do Pursed Lip Breathing?
Pursed lip breathing is particularly helpful for people with lung conditions that make it hard to breathe.
These conditions can include obstructive lung disease (such as asthma) and restrictive lung disease (such as pulmonary fibrosis - PF, which is a type of interstitial lung disease (ILD).
Pursed lip breathing is also used as part of treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Breathing exercises to improve lung function are essential, they can make breathing significantly easier.
Pursed lip breathing can help improve & control your breathing in several ways:
In addition to the lung benefits you can get from pursed lip breathing; it can also lead to overall relaxation. By taking consistent, deep breaths, you can calm the central nervous system, which has a relaxing effect on your entire body. This can help reduce stress and anxiety.
Practice Pursed Lip Breathing:
Breathe in slowly through your nose for two counts (keeping your mouth closed). Take a normal breath. Pucker or "purse" your lips as if you were going to whistle (or as if you are blowing on hot food) and then breathe out slowly, taking twice as long to exhale as you took to inhale.
Repeat.
Over time you can increase the inhale and exhale counts from 2 seconds to 4 seconds, and so on.
Pursed lip breathing is one of the simplest ways to control shortness of breath.

Pursed lip breathing can help improve & control your breathing in several ways:
- relieving shortness of breath by slowing the breath rate
- keeping the airways open longer, which decreases the work that goes into breathing
- improving ventilation by moving old air (carbon dioxide) trapped in the lungs out and making room for new, fresh oxygen

Grafting Remedies into Liquids
In the Videos Below, Learn How To:
Graft a Remedy - This is used to extend your remedies, dispense remedies, and have extra emergency remedies where you may need them. Cost effective.
Make a Remedy Solution Bottle - This is a grafted remedy, made into a water and brandy solution. The brandy serves as a carrier of the homeopathic frequency and a preservative, it helps to keep germs and bacteria away.
Make a Remedy Stock Bottle - This is a grafted remedy that extends your remedy and allows for remedy storage. Stock bottles are made using straight alcohol (70 proof or higher) and a pellet or alcohol-based remedy. This stock remedy can be dispensed into a remedy solution bottle and given. I think this is easier to dispense compared to small pellet dosing.

Alternate Nostril Breathing
Alternate Nostril Breathing (Anuloma - Viloma Pranayama)
With a long history connected to yoga and Ayurvedic medicine, alternate nostril breathing has been proven helpful in reducing stress and anxiety. Since stress is one of the leading causes of all disease, you should consider trying alternate nostril breathing. As you breathe, realize you have the ability to control your reaction to situations; realize your part in maintaining and rejuvenating your own health.

Castor Oil - What is it? What is a Castor Oil Pack?
Castor beans were found in Egyptian tombs dating back to 4000 B.C. The oil from the bean has been used for thousands of years as facial oil, lamp oil and internally as a cleansing oil.
A castor oil pack is applied externally to the body. A piece of unbleached wool (or cotton) flannel, saturated with castor oil, is applied to a specified area with or without heat. The Edgar Cayce readings recommend a castor oil pack to relieve pain, stimulate the liver, to improve eliminations and to increase lymphatic circulation.

Saturate a flannel cloth with castor oil. (I think the easiest way to saturate the flannel is to place the piece of fabric in a plastic shopping bag and pour the thick, cold-pressed castor oil over the flannel, squeezing the cloth within the bag until it is saturated). The first time you saturate the flannel, it will take almost half the bottle of oil. When the wrap is saturated, throw the plastic bag away. The pack is now saturated and ready for use. Additional amounts of castor oil will be needed to add to the pack to keep it saturated before each third use.

Food Combining - A Key to Digestion
Food combining simply means you can eat what you choose, however; you shouldn’t combine certain foods together. This chart illustrates that despite how we were raised, for healthy digestion you should not eat a steak and potato together.
Do not mix starches with proteins. It’s easy; when you eat a starch (bread) combine it with a green leafy vegetable or with a starchy vegetable. When you eat a protein combine it with a no starch vegetable or a green leafy salad. |
Fruit should be eaten alone on an empty stomach, a half-hour to one hour before your meal, or when you are hungry. Certain fruit combinations digest easier than others.
Melons should be eaten alone or your stomach will moan.
This may seem difficult at first; we were not raised to follow this chart. However, many people I have shared this information with have greatly diminished their antacid intake and feel great!
